overall
good tutorial, but it could have used a cleaner, cooler looking interface

ecch... the graphics were ok, and the idea was not bad... but the game was terrible! you lost most of the elements from classic space invaders... like for instance, the block/shield things go away w/ one of their shots... they dotn crumble like in classic space invaders... also, you couldnt shoot out the blocks
I didn't say it WAS Space Invaders, I said its like it though.
well...
a decent game BUT: (and this is a huge but)
it is exactly... picture perfect... same as the last version you submitted, not one tiny thing has been changed... the filesizes are the same to the kb...
make significant (if any) changes before you submit your work again
There were significant changes, I don't know what you mean. I added fuel and health bars, opions, pause function and completely changed the look of the first level. I changed the old one to the new version earlier today because this is my first submissions to NG. I thought it may go back onto the new list but it did not, so I resubmitted the new version. I am trying to delete the old right now.
meh...
good game, it was fun but i dont think it really was that easy... you should add powerups that increses your speed, make you invincable ect... taht would be fun
tnx for the idea
Not bad.
I can tell already you put tons of work into that, because insted of using a coulple of frames and actionscript, you did a frame by frame with keyDown transistions. Good work, you got a 4 from me! One thing, you could make an livemotion version with all the controls to the player but with instructions for each move when you need to use it!
im not good at actionscript, try watching for blasterbones games. hes making one rite now. hes the actionscript guy of the family. i know the basics of actionscript though
